  • Kerri Pomarolli — Comedian, Actress, Author
That's right folks - It's time for our monthly visit with our favorite Hollywood Correspondent!
(And now for something completely different: Kerri wants to finally come out! And she’s choosing TDMS to tell the world. It’s taken two years for Kerri to be comfortable enough to share a secret that she’s been hiding from the Christians that she performs for. Mainly because she feared that once the Christians found out about her secret, they might not hire her to perform at their churches, conferences and festivals. Tune in to hear Kerri Pomarolli finally unburden herself. *This is not a joke.)

  • Camino Clothes — And other outdoor advice from Sojourn Outdoors in Barrie
Make sure you tune into our live video stream on The Drew Marshall Show Facebook page as Drew puts on everything he had with him for his 1000 KM pilgrimage on The Camino de Santiago. And, since hiking weather is finally upon us here in Southern Ontario, that means that summer holidays need to be properly planned and equipped. So he’ll be joined in studio by Cheri from Sojourn Outdoors in Barrie to talk about the good, the bad and the butt ugly in outdoor equipment this year!

LIVE! on TDMS - Devoted Souly to the Art of Music

  • Wax Mannequin
Strange-folk phenomenon Wax Mannequin has traversed a range sonic and physical terrain this past decade. Through his catalogue of secretly renowned recordings and his riotous live performances at countless venues and festivals, Wax continues to bring his essential voice and vision to both sides of the Atlantic. His legend grows through word-of-mouth as his music is passed from hand-to-hand — his influence trickles down from the minds of wayward kindred souls, insidiously seeping into the poetic heart of this country. While his personal idiosyncrasies, lyrical depth and other-worldly melodic sensibilities have kept Wax Mannequin safely out of mass-appeal, they also make him impossible to dismiss or forget. With a name that is muttered with alternating bewilderment, scorn and reverence in galleries, garages and pubs throughout Canada and Europe, Wax Mannequin continues defiantly and indefinitely to bring his timeless brand of strange folk and absurdist pop music to the far reaches of the western world.

1/ Getting bumped from flights you’ve paid for because the airline oversold it (otherwise you might get physically dragged off a plane) / Ontario Liberals and your hydro bill / the classic rental car reservation Seinfeld fiasco / sitting in the Emergency waiting room for hours and hours… tell us your worst customer service experience.

2/ Have we really changed our thinking on how and why we should take care of our planet? Is there such a thing as taking “tree hugging” too far? Why do people care more about the earth than they do about their armpit stink?

3/ Is it time to stop taking our kids to The Zoo or Marineland/Seaworld? Or should we appreciate their mandate to rescue, rehabilitate and research? Do you think that wild animals kept in captivity helps the conservation and preservation of animals, or is it barbaric, voyeuristic capitalism?
