  • Journey To Christmas — Drew's First Reality/Documentary (Begins Saturday December 3rd!)
Last December, Drew was asked to join a reality/documentary filmed in Israel. Journey to Christmas is a fascinating new television special which explores Jesus’ birth through five modern-day explorers. Filmed on ultra-high-definition film, this unique series chronicles the experiences of five very different people—an Eritrean artist, a First Nations woman, a poet, an agnostic, and Drew —as they journey through the Holy Land. Guided by a local historian, with on-camera commentary from a team of Bible experts, Journey to Christmas includes stunning photography, a reality show format, and exotic locations.

Joining us today: Dr. Stephen Pfann, President of the University of the Holy Land in Jerusalem, has significantly contributed to the publication of the Dead Sea Scrolls as a member of the International Team of Editors. As a Dead Sea Scroll editor, Dr. Pfann has published one of the manuscripts of the Book of Daniel from Qumran cave 4 and is responsible for the decipherment of more than fifty manuscripts written in the "cryptic" scripts found exclusively in the caves of Qumran. As an archaeologist, Dr. Pfann was a member of the staff of the excavations of Beth Shean and the City of David. Also joining us is Dr. Pfann's wife, Professor Claire Pfann, academic dean and instructor in New Testament at the University of the Holy Land in Jerusalem and an expert in first century Jewish life.

  • The Counsel Of Many!
Need Help or Advice On An Issue In Your Life?
Tell us your situation and Drew will ask the listeners of TDMS!

This week on The Counsel Of Many: A man wants to know if his wife should be keeping pictures of old boyfriends in her purse? Is that normal?

"My wife and I have been married 7 years now and I just found out that she's been keeping pictures of her old boyfriends in her purse! I was totally shocked and feel kind of betrayed a little. When we got married she wanted a couple of her old boyfriends to come to the wedding but when I found out I decided to put my foot down. We fought about that issue for a while but in the end she agreed to NOT invite them. In my way of thinking, once you marry someone, the old flames need to completely die out. End of discussion. Marriages have a hard enough time surviving these days what with Facebook hook-ups and secret texting. I don't consider myself to be overly jealous when it comes to strangers noticing or interacting with my wife, but when it comes to old boyfriends – it's hands off! So needless to say, with my wife knowing how I feel about this issue, I felt completely betrayed by her when I found these pictures in her purse. Some of my friends totally agree with me and some of her friends totally agree with her. I'd like to know whose right? Could you and your listeners please settle this argument for us? I really think that if she knows I don't want her to have ANYTHING to do with her old boyfriends that she should not be carrying around old pictures of them. I mean, if she's doing that knowing I wouldn't be cool with it, then what else has she been keeping from me?"

  • TDMS Realtor Network
We'll talk “real estate” with our three TDMS Realtors – George Kloet, covering Oakville, Mississauga & Burlington / LynneMarie Snarr covering Toronto, Pickering & Oshawa / Paula Mitchell covering Brampton, Caledon & Georgetown. According to Emerging Trends in Real Estate 2012, a survey of 950 real estate executives by the accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers and the Urban Land Institute, Canadian real estate remains the most stable in North America. So with that in mind, what moves should and shouldn't people be making during these uncertain economic times?
