DIVINE ACCESS is equal parts comedy and drama. Set in the south, it’s a road movie, a buddy picture and an often sweet, thought-provoking story of redemption. Jack Harriman (Billy Burke) has seen it all. Keenly aware of Jack’s penchant for discrediting religious zealots, Jack is asked to join a cable access television show produced by his friend Bob McCord (Patrick Warburton). After humiliating the current host of the show, the Reverend Guy Roy Davis (Gary Cole), Jack’s popularity turns him into a spiritual celebrity and he takes to the road on a multi-city speaking tour accompanied by Nigel a self-proclaimed “catcher” (Joel David Moore). Along the way Jack and Nigel are joined by Amber (Dora Madison), a down on her luck call-girl, and Marian (Sarah Shahi), an enigmatic beauty who challenges Jack’s beliefs and questions whether he has some deeper calling. Forces both natural and supernatural lead Jack on a journey to discover his own spiritual truth, culminating in a final showdown with Guy Roy. Ultimately, DIVINE ACCESS is a story of family, friendship and faith. *Canadians can watch DIVINE ACCESS on iTunes, Sony Playstation, Google Play, YouTube Movies & Hoopla

  • Ron Hall — Author, Portrayed by Greg Kinnear in Same Kind Of Different As Me
"Nobody can help everybody, but everybody can help somebody." Words of wisdom from a homeless drifter; words that never would be shared with the world if not for a wayward husband, a forgiving wife, and an unforgettable true story that brought the three of them together. With more money than they could ever possibly need, Ron and Debbie Hall have everything they could ever want … except for a loving marriage. When Ron’s unfaithfulness is brought to light, Debbie invites him to stay—as long as he remains truthful and does what she asks of him. But when her request includes serving the homeless at an inner-city rescue mission, Ron would prefer to write a large check instead. Guided by her faith and spurred on by the dream of a homeless man she senses will change their city, Debbie befriends a disenfranchised man named Denver. More surprisingly, so does Ron. Despite vast differences, their lives begin to intersect and they all are changed … forever. Based on an unforgettable true story of forgiveness, friendship, family, and faith, SAME KIND OF DIFFERENT AS ME opened in theatres October 20. With two Academy Award winners and two nominees, the film’s outstanding cast brings to life the New York Times bestseller that interweaves stories of international art dealer Ron Hall (Greg Kinnear), his grace-giving wife Debbie (Renée Zellweger), their unexpected friend Denver (Djimon Hounsou), and Ron’s estranged father Earl (Jon Voight).

  • Avery Raquel
Avery Raquel is BACK! This young phenom started in the entertainment industry when she was just 7 years old, having landed a role in the television pilot episode of “Falling Skies”, executive produced by Steven Spielberg. Since then Avery has appeared in commercials, radio ads, and even for a Disney animated television series, lending her voice to one of the lead characters. That experience led to a number of professional stage productions across Canada. Her passion for singing quickly grew from that, and has led to an impressive list of career accomplishments on her musical resume. She has earned audience acclaim, critical kudos and peer respect as a vocalist of rare talent, and has recently entered into an exciting new chapter in her developing success story, as a songwriter. In collaboration with Juno-winning, noted Toronto producer/songwriter/musician Greg Kavanagh, Avery has written accomplished new songs that appear on her second solo album, Without A Little Rain, released in Spring 2017. Stylistically, the new record incorporates some fresh new elements, as Avery explains, “I see this album more as having a contemporary Soul style, reminiscent of artists such as Norah Jones, Corinne Bailey Rae and even Amy Winehouse, opening doors to new audiences. I think of it as a really nice blend of different styles and genres.” Assisting in this evolution, performing on the album, is a group of A-list Toronto musicians, including bassist Ross MacIntyre, pianist Adrean Farrugia, Guitarist Ben Lemma, and drummer Joel Haynes, among others. The album and Avery’s songwriting have already received glowing reviews, airplay across the country, including CBC Radio, and charting positions, including debuting on the iTunes RnB Top 200 Album Chart at #31, and reaching #7 on the Earshot! national Jazz chart. Avery has performed with the Berklee Global Jazz Institute on the Newport Jazz Festival stage in Rhode Island, taken the stage at the famous New York City club Birdland, and stunned audiences at top Toronto venues like Koerner Hall, Roy Thomson Hall, Lula Lounge and Hugh’s Room. Some of those performances have been as the featured vocalist with the Jazz.FM91 Youth Big Band.
